In Chinese schools, the subject for learning Chinese is called "Yuwen" (语文). As the name suggests, Yuwen = language + culture. At Haoxue Chinese, we teach children to speak authentic Chinese. We also help them understand the cultural nuances of the language and how to apply Chinese in their daily lives - connecting language, culture, and real life.
We pride ourselves in the use of a gamified teaching approach that integrates daily life themes, traditional festivals, and cultural learning — so that hearing, speaking, reading and writing Chinese all become a natural part of everyday life. This allows children to enjoy learning Chinese, enjoy using Chinese, and develop a genuine appreciation for Chinese culture.
在中国的学校，学生学习中文的书本叫《语文》，顾名思义，语文=语言+文化。在好学中文，我们不仅教授孩子们如何说好正宗的普通话，而且还教授孩子们如何理解别人说的中文，如何运用到自己的生活中，也就是如何把语言、文化和我们的日常生活联系起来。
