Haoxue Chinese was founded by Ana Huang (Huang Zhiqin), an educator with deep cultural heritage and personal roots in China. Driven by a passion for inspiring young learners, Ana is committed to cultivating a love for the Chinese language through innovative, joyful, and authentic learning experiences. She believes that language learning extends far beyond vocabulary, emphasizing cultural context, history, and meaningful communication as core pillars of her teaching philosophy. Contact NowIn Chinese schools, the subject for learning Chinese is called "Yuwen" (语文). As the name suggests, Yuwen = language + culture. At Haoxue Chinese, we teach children to speak authentic Chinese. We also help them understand the cultural nuances of the language and how to apply Chinese in their daily lives - connecting language, culture, and real life. We pride ourselves in the use of a gamified teaching approach that integrates daily life themes, traditional festivals, and cultural learning — so that hearing, speaking, reading and writing Chinese all become a natural part of everyday life.
