Haoxue Chinese was founded by Ana Huang (Huang Laoshi), an experienced educator with deep roots in Chinese culture and a strong foundation nurtured through her upbringing in China. Driven by a genuine passion for language education, Ana is committed to sparking children's interest and enthusiasm for Chinese through innovative, engaging, and authentic learning experiences.
She believes that learning a language goes far beyond memorizing words. It's about understanding the culture, history, and expressions behind the words, and being able to use language naturally and confidently in real life.
Outside of teaching, Ana loves plants, animals, and spending time outdoors. She enjoys calligraphy, hiking, and pickleball. As a mother of two, she has always embraced nature-based learning and positive discipline in raising her own children, and she brings that same philosophy into her teaching.
At Haoxue Chinese, children are not just students. They are young language explorers. In an immersive environment, they are encouraged to speak boldly, practice joyfully, and express themselves in Chinese. It's a journey of growth, discovery, and connection, one that opens doors to a world of culture and endless possibilities.
好学中文由创始人 Ana Huang 黄志勤（黄老师）创立，她是一位拥有深厚中华文化背景，并在中国扎根成长的资深教育工作者。怀着对语言教育的热爱，黄老师致力于通过创新、有趣且真实的学习体验，激发孩子们对中文的兴趣与热情。她坚信：学习语言不只是记单词，更重要的是理解语言背后的文化、历史与表达方式，并能真正活学活用、自信沟通。
生活中的黄老师热爱植物、动物与户外时光，也喜欢书法与徒步、匹克球。作为两个孩子的妈妈，她一直用自然教育和正面管教的理念陪伴孩子成长，也把这份理念自然而然地融入到了教学之中。
在这里，孩子们不只是学生，更是小小语言探索家——在沉浸式环境里大胆开口、快乐实践，用中文表达自己、连接世界、拥抱文化，开启一段既成长又难忘的学习旅程。

At Haoxue Chinese, we believe Chinese is more than just a subject. It is a living, breathing culture. We don't just teach children to speak Mandarin fluently. We want them to understand the meaning behind the words and naturally weave it into their own lives, truly connecting language, culture, and everyday living. We use gamified learning and take children into nature, where they can experience Chinese through open fields, gardens, and the changing seasons. We also bring daily life, traditions, and cultural experiences into our lessons, so that listening, speaking, reading, and writing Chinese become a natural part of who they are. Our hope is that children don't learn Chinese because they “have to”, but because they genuinely love speaking it and growing to appreciate Chinese culture from the heart.

我们不仅教孩子们说一口地道的普通话，更希望他们能听懂中文背后的意思，并把它自然地融入到自己的生活里——把语言、文化和日常生活真正连接起来。
我们采用游戏化教学，带孩子们走进大自然，在田野、花园和四季变化中触摸中文；也把衣食住行、传统节日和文化体验融入课堂，让听、说、读、写中文成为孩子们生活里自然而然的一部分。
我们希望，孩子们不是“被要求”学中文，而是发自内心地喜欢说中文、爱上中华文化。
